Her passions include quality teacher training, seeking excellence in a positive environment and building a solid foundation through cumulative learning.  Caroline currently lives in Lima, Peru.

Margaret Parkin
Margaret started Suzuki violin at the age of four, followed by degrees in violin and conducting in her native Canada.  She trained as a Suzuki teacher with the BSI, and also holds the ESA Diploma of Suzuki Pedagogy.

Margaret is co-director of the Oxford Suzuki String Group and maintains a full studio of violin and viola students aged three to 18.  She has taught at workshops in Canada, Denmark and the UK.  She says her best and most challenging role is as a Suzuki parent and teacher to her outgoing and inquisitive seven year old son.

Jenny Macmillan
Jenny has a thriving Suzuki piano teaching practice in Cambridge.  She is an ESA teacher trainer and runs her own Suzuki teacher training course.  She has published many articles on various aspects of the Suzuki approach.  In 2010 she published a book, Successful Practising: A handbook for pupils, parents and music teachers (and is currently writing a book on teaching).  She has recorded the complete Suzuki piano repertoire.  She has also videoed short teaching tutorials on each piece in books 1 to 4 of the repertoire.  To access all these recordings, tutorials and articles, look on www.jennymacmillan.co.uk.
